South Downs at Baroness Margarethe's invitation.
1975-1976 (AS IX-X)
Gavin Reynes sent and received multiple letters between Baroness Margarethe of South Downs; Lord Brian Maolcaoin, Seneschal of the Shire of Windmasters' Hill; Lord Robin of Mannefeld of Windmasters' Hill; Lady Alura the Twinn of Windmasters' Hill, and Lord William de Montegilt, Seneschal of the Kingdom of the East.

Gavin Reynes gathered seven college students to form the Incipient Shire of Nottinghill Coill.
29 January 1976 (AS X)
Lord William de Montegilt, Seneschal of the Kingdom of the East, warranted Gavin Reynes as Seneschal of the Shire of Nottinghill Coill, which, Lord William pointed out, included the entire state of South Carolina.
1976-1978 (AS X-AS XII)
Several cantons of the Shire of Nottinghill Coill formed around the state of South Carolina, including Tears Sea's Shore, Falcon Cree, Cyddlain Downs, and Hidden Mountain.
21 January 1978 (AS XII)
With the help of folks from both the Barony of South Downs and the Shire of Windmasters' Hill, the Shire of Nottinghill Coill held its first event.
1980 (AS XIV)
At Principality of Atlantia Twelfth Night, Their Majesties granted the Shire of Nottinghill Coill baronial status, with Gavin Reynes as first Baron.
1981 (AS XV)
The Kingdom of Atlantia formed from the Kingdom of the East (after having been a principality of the Kingdom).
1983 (AS XVII)
Gavin Reynes retired as Baron and was succeeded by Dressel of Seven Bends and Genevieve of Nottinghill.
1986 (AS XX)
Dressel and Genevieve retired as Baron and Baroness and were succeeded by Richard de Montbrai and Joanna van Artevelde.
1988 (AS XXIII)
Richard and Joanna retired as Baron and Baroness and were succeeded by  Corwyn Wodewarde and Deirdre Morgan.
1990 (AS  XXIV)
Corwyn and Deirdre  retired as Baron and Baroness and were succeeded by Olaf Askoldasonn and Gillian of Falconcree.
1996 (AS XXX)
Olaf and Gillian retired as Baron and Baroness and were succeeded by Corwyn Wodewarde and Deirdre Morgan.
Corwyn and Deirdre retired as Baron and Baroness and were succeeded by Janos of Cyddlain Downs and Rachel Wallace.

William and Julian retired as Baron and Baroness and were succeeded by Geldamar le farceur and Etain of Sutherland.

Takeda and Ariel retired as Baron and Baroness and were succeeded by  Lucien de la Rochelle and Brig ingen Erennaigh.
